The Quick Start Guide

We've had some great customer feedback lately. Someone suggested we make a quick start guide for people. This is one draft we have a going. If you have any suggestions please post them in comments :)

Thank you for your purchase of your Mind Alive Audio Visual Entrainment Device. To get the most out of your device we recommend the following.

  1. Close your eyes. The entrainment is most effective when used with your eyes closed
  2. Stay hydrated. Drink an 8 ounce (250 mL) glass of water 15 minutes before a session
  3. Your self awareness will increase as you may hear your tummy gurgling or mild aches and pains
  4. For the first few sessions, use the "Meditation" session of 10 Hz in the afternoon (at least three hours after awakening).
  5. The meditation setting may also help with sleep
  6. The flashing may seem erratic at first. This feature is intentional to help you let go of intrusive and stressful thoughts
  7. A breathing pacer called Heart Rate Variability (HRV) is built into each session. To use the HRV, breathe in for two heart beats and breathe out for two beats. Breathe fully and deeply from the stomach.
After the first week you should feel more calm and comfortable and have improved sleep.  For the second week you can experiment with the various sessions based on your needs.  ~ S
