Brain Waves

The bulk of this is already available on the website I've just condensed it for an article I'm writing regarding the use of AVE for athletes.

The science of entrainment involves flashing lights and sounds occurring at discrete frequencies correlating to brain wave frequencies beta, alpha, theta and delta.

Beta Waves are quick, low amplitude waves of 14 to 40 Hz. Beta brainwave patterns are generated naturally when in an awake, focused and alert state of consciousness.

Alpha Waves are between 8 and 13 Hz and occur during relaxation or meditation to produce a sense of well-being, improve sleep, reduce anxiety and improve immune functioning. At the Alpha/Theta border (7 to 8 Hz), exceptional insights and personal transforming experiences can occur.

Theta Waves are between 4 and 8 Hz and are commonly referred to as the dream or "twilight" state. Memory improves and access to unconscious material, sudden insight and creative ideas increases.

Delta Waves are observed when sleeping and are the slowest of brainwaves spanning from 1 to 4 Hz in frequency.

A competitor's site has a great picture of this on it Brain Wave graphic (yes, I'm attracted to nice pictures ) and has a good explanation as to how it all works, but unlike Mind Alive they don't have the extensive research or testimonials, nor did I see any type of training courses. It's fascinating to see how many others use Dave's research to promote their AVEs.
